Norman is Vice President of Groupe Park Avenue Inc, which is a Quebec-based group of twenty-three automotive dealerships that employs over 850 employees and generates approximately $800M in annual revenue. He works conjointly with Groupe Park Avenue Inc’s CEO on the development and execution of company-wide strategic planning as well as leading numerous Shared-Services initiatives such as marketing, digital strategy, preowned strategy as well as overseeing the business development center. Prior to joining Groupe Park Avenue, Norman was general manager of MINI Brossard, a Brossard QC based dealership that sells approximately 600 new and used vehicles a year and employs 35 people. He was responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company and managing its execution on a monthly and weekly basis. Groupe Park Avenue is a family business that was started by Norman’s grandfather, Norman D. Hébert in 1958. He is the third generation to enter the business.
Norman is a graduate of Saint Francis Xavier University and holds an MBA from HEC Montréal. Prior to joining the family business, Norman worked for Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consultancy. He started his career in Paris and completed mandates in various European countries as well as across the United States.
In addition to his roles within the company, Norman has been able to join a selected group of Montreal charitable organizations. He has focused his involvement with three organizations, the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, Montreal Cancer Institute, The Jewish General Hospital Foundation and the Montreal McCord Museum Foundation. He also sits on the board of the Association of Quebec Retailers (Conseil Quebecois du commerce de detail).
